The Computer science laboratories with which the Department is equipped fulfill the functions of both a teaching laboratory for learning the basics of computer science and a classroom for courses or exercises involving the use of electronic processors and/or multimedia equipment in general.

The laboratories are located in the Via D'Azeglio complex and in the Via Del Prato University Learning Centre.

A Computer science laboratory is located on the 1st floor of the "ex scientifici" building (Mathematics used to be there) in the Via D’Azeglio Complex, with access from both the cloister and the entrance overlooking Piazzale Santa Croce.

The laboratory is mostly used for teaching purposes. Inside there are 25 thin client type computer stations, accessible with Athenaeum authentication.

The classroom also has a video projector.


A second Computer science laboratory, equipped with 8 Computer science workstations, is located on the 2nd floor where the Italian Studies Unit is located. This is a facility aimed at the department's scientific research activities, the use of which is reserved for its professors, researchers and doctoral students.

A laboratory equippe with 60 computer science workstations, the use of which is mainly for learning the basics of Computer science and for conducting the exams, is located in the Via Del Prato University Learning Centre, next to the "Magna" Classroom.

The classroom also has a video projector.
