"I love learning. I hate being taught" (Winston Churchill)

The multimedia lab provides you with many resources to practice your language or languages of choice, with or without the guidance of a teacher. It is a place dedicated to learning rather than teaching. It is the place where you can identify your strengths and weaknesses and make yourself aware of your progress, searching among the online and/or CD/DVD activities for those that you will need to improve your language skills.

You will find resources made available:

A. to do activities that you usually do in your native language, but would like to do in another language, just for the pleasure of being able to do them in the language you are learning, such as:

  1. reading newspapers in a foreign language;
  2. listening to radio and television clips;
  3. reading and/or listening to literary excerpts;
  4. doing crossword puzzles, language games.
  5. ...it's up to you to find out what else is possible.

B. to practice language skills in which you feel less confident, such as, for example:

  1. speech comprehension in more or less formal contexts;
  2. writing comprehension in various text types;
  3. lack of appropriate vocabulary;
  4. lack of grammatical accuracy;
  5. lack of fluency in language.

It's up to you to find out what you need!"

The strategies and skills acquired and developed in this place of learning will serve you well, even after you finish your undergraduate studies, to always be able to communicate in a foreign language. Keep an eye on the constant changes to find out about our frequent updates and their usefulness.
Good work and also... have fun!
