Laboratory "Centro Studi Catulliani"
The Laboratory "Centro Studi Catulliani" of the Department of Humanities, Social Sciences and Cultural Industries aims to establish a documentation centre and collection of materials useful for the study of Gaius Valerius Catullus (with particular reference to the manuscript tradition) and therefore as a hub for those, students and scholars, who would like to make use of it.
Interdepartmental Neuroscience & Humanities Lab - N&H
The Interdepartmental Neuroscience & Humanities Lab - N&H of the University of Parma aims to promote and develop research in the field of relations between the humanities and cognitive Neuroscience. This goal is pursued through the implementation of scientific research projects, workshops, seminars, conferences and symposia, promotion of research networks and Fellowships, building national and international relations with other Universities and Research Centers active in this field, and developing relationships with both public and private entities and institutions.

Laboratory for the History of Political Thought "De Cive"
The Laboratory for the History of Political Thought "De Cive", established in 2019 on the initiative of the History Unit and the Psychological and Social Studies Unit, is housed in the Borgo Carissimi complex. The purpose of the laboratory is the promotion of political studies in their historical, philosophical and politological dimensions, with particular reference to the international aspect.
The aims of the laboratory are pursued through the implementation of research projects, publications, seminars, conferences and symposia. In the implementation of its projects, the laboratory also cooperates in the enhancement and increase of funds related to the history of political thought present in the library facilities of the Borgo Carissimi complex.
Laboratory of Glottodidactics
The Laboratory of Glottodidactics aims to promote and develop research in the field of language acquisition and teaching, educational innovation and experimentation, and professor training.
The laboratory is hubs in the Via D'Azeglio complex (Strada Massimo D'Azeglio, 85 - 43125 Parma).
Laboratory for Computer science Humanities and Digital Culture
The Laboratory of Humanities Computer science and Digital Culture, established in 2021 within the Department of Humanities, Social Sciences and Cultural Industries, aims to promote knowledge in the areas of Digital Humanities through the activation of basic or refresher courses and modules for students and professors, and the organization or signaling of initiatives and paths related to humanities Computer science. Above all, the Laboratory aims to be a meeting and discussion place for all scholars interested in research in DHs and has the ambition to provide support to ongoing projects or to promote the birth of new ones, also looking at collaboration with other entities, conservation or research, of national and international scope.
German Classical Philosophy Lab
The German Classical Philosophy Lab aims to promote and disseminate German classical thought and its historical and speculative legacy. The Laboratory collaborates nationally and internationally on research projects, encourages the publication of texts, and organizes conferences, seminars, lectures and cultural events.
The laboratory is incardinated in the Department of Humanities, Social Sciences and Cultural Industries of the University of Parma and in the Department of Humanistic Studies of the University of Ferrara.
The laboratory's hub at the University of Parma is on the third floor of the Philosophy Unit of the DUSIC Department, Via D'Azeglio complex (Strada Massimo D'Azeglio, 85 - 43125 Parma).
Environmental Social Humanities Lab
The purpose of the Lab is to promote and strengthen the contribution of the social sciences and humanities to the analysis and understanding of the ecological issues and challenges of our time, such as, for example, climate change, biodiversity loss, resource depletion, and the destruction of local knowledge and forms of life, environmental migration, the impact of technologies and the digital transition, waste generation, pollution, and damage to ecosystems and psycho-physical health, demographic issues, social inequalities and cultural and educational poverty, environmental racism, and speciesism.
Contemporaneously, the Lab aims to contribute to civic education and the promotion of ecological citizenship, to rethinking lifestyles and recognizing the connections and interdependencies of the living, to reflecting on the role of literature and art in the development of an ecocritical consciousness, to the production and innovation of policies related to the issues of sustainability, environmental justice, socio-ecological transition, and the search for new forms of care, psychological well-being, and prosperity.

EXHIBIT - Research Centre for the History of Exhibitions
The EXHIBIT - Research Centre for the History of Exhibitions aims to promote and develop research in the field of the history of exhibitions, from the modern to the contemporary era, at the national and international level.
The laboratory pursues its aims through the implementation and participation in research projects, publications, digital platforms and scientific events, such as conferences, seminars, lectures and documentary exhibitions. The laboratory supports teaching activities within its courses of study (first-cycle and second-cycle degree courses, PhD programs, first- and second-level master programs), also participating in third mission initiatives. In the implementation of its activities, the laboratory makes use of resources internal and external to the University of Parma, contributing to the enhancement of archival and library holdings related to the history of exhibitions, with particular attention to the solutions provided by the digital humanities.

Laboratory "Venti Ventuno"
The laboratory is jointly run by the Department of Humanities, Social Sciences and Cultural Industries (DUSIC) and the Department of Economics and Management (SEA).
Interweaving the typical approach of artistic-literary disciplines with the perspective of the social sciences, the Laboratory aims to develop critical reflection on issues related to the discursive articulations and representations of the economic and social universe, with dual focus on twentieth-century modernity and the contemporary extreme. Activities will include seminars and conferences, workshops also in collaboration with schools and libraries, in dialogue with public and private bodies, social partners, scientific and museum foundations.
