27 and 28 April 2022 - Online conference "Classics in Translation: Greek and Latin in Anglophone Literatures and Cultures"

Why is the reception and, particularly, the translation and adaptation of classical texts so important? This international conference seeks to address a series of key questions relating to the inexhaustible vitality of Graeco-Latin literatures and cultures in Anglophone contexts. The online event will take place in the mornings of 27 and 28 April. At the end, the British ensemble “Live Canon” will read and perform passages from the texts discussed at the conference.
