Departments are the key organizational structures for carrying out scientific research, teaching and training activities, as well as knowledge and innovation transfer and related or ancillary outward-looking activities. The Director and Department Council represent the Departmental governing bodies responsible for setting Quality Assurance policies for departmental research and teaching.

Departmental Quality Assurance Presidium - PQD
Departmental Quality Assurance Presidium - PQD is established within each Department, an operational and connecting body between the Department and the University Quality Presidium.

Steering Committee
The Steering Committee, composed of a representation of the Department's professors and representatives of the world of work, ensures constant liaison with the world of business and labor, in order to assess the progress of the Courses of Study, to elaborate proposals for the definition and design of the course catalogue and learning objectives, promoting contacts for possible internships of students in companies and institutions.
